Sebastien Ogier overcame the challenge of overnight leader Petter Solberg to win the Rally of Japan yesterday, the 10th leg of the World Rally Championship series. The French Citroen driver (picture) covered the 26 stages in three hours 10 minutes 26.4 seconds, 15.7 seconds quicker than Solberg. Championship leader Sebastien Loeb was fifth and a distant 53.3secs behind the winner but still remains on course to retain his title as he leads Ogier by 43 points with three races remaining.
