I felt really sorry when I came from abroad and heard about the tragedy in Gozo where I was born.I know Maria and her family. We attended the same school.Maria I pray that God will give you courage. To loose five members of the family at one go is not a joke. All my prayers to you and the remaining members of your family.

A foreign friend of mine always chooses to fly with his son, while his wife and two daughters fly on a separate flight, to the same destination. This is done just in case an accident happens the whole family will not be wiped out, My family joins me in sending our condolences to Maria and her daughter.

And do they stay in a different hotel while on holiday? And do they eat in a different restaurant?

Remember the story of the one who never travelled for fear of planes, only to die with a plane crashing on him?

May all the victims rest in peace!
A month ago, I suggested that there should be some real measures to avoid such tragedies. One Idea I suggested was that there should be no more, than two to three persons working at the factory! Have a look here.

A pity that nobody took notice of this! If someone did, that poor lady would have not lost all her family members! This was such a simple idea of mine. I imagine there are lot better than this.
All experts we have, and qualified people from University and nobody do anything. Aren’t we supposed to be intelligent and responsible enough?
When a shuttle crashed in USA, all shuttles were ground till they found the fault, why didn’t we take the same measures? Before the Gharb explosion, there were four others before. Where are the authorities? Only for the name?
