The Malta Union of Teachers has declared an industrial dispute at Mcast over changes in break-times, due to be implemented shortly.

"No consultation whatever has been carried out with the union and the MUT strongly protests against this unilateral decision by the authorities at Mcast," the union said.

It called on lecturers whose work-schedule is affected to contact the MUT and to adhere to the previous break-times until proper discussions are held.
