I refer to the item about the sewage overflow caused by a badly installed private connection in Qawra (August 28).

Only in Malta would anyone be allowed to interfere directly with the public drainage system and cause so much damage to so many. It will be interesting to see if anyone will be prosecuted over this major bungle!
