Obituary
ABELA. On September 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, GEORGE, of Qormi, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church, aged 84. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Ludgarda, his son George and his wife Margaret, his grandchildren Robert and his wife Lydia and Maria and her husband Paolo Manconi, Lino and Doris Spiteri, his brother Louis and his sister Lucy who lives in Australia, family and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3.30 p.m. for St George’s parish church, Qormi, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m. followed by interment at the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Community Chest Fund will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
AGIUS. On September 7 at St James Hospital, VICTORIA MIRIAM, aged 57, of Fleur-De-Lys, assistant head at the Marsa primary school, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Wilfred and his wife Ruth, her sister Iris and her husband Charles Mifsud, her twin Doris, her close friend Catherine Sammut, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Saint James Hospital on Saturday at 8 a.m. for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Fleur-De-Lys, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Mary Joan wife of John Muscat and Richard, her granddaughters Naomi wife of Tim Galea and Diane and her boyfriend Rendy Pisani, her sister Georgina Cutajar, her sister-in-law Marlene widow of her brother Ċensu Bugeja, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mtarfa Home today at 3.30 p.m. for St Paul parish church, Rabat, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Margherita Cemetery. The family is grateful to all the nurses and staff at the Mtarfa Nursing Ward who took such good care of Emmanuela.
