Two Maltese models will be taking part in the London Fashion Week in a fortnight, following the Malta InFashion event held recently.

Kristen Buhagiar and Leah Vella would be on the coveted catwalk alongside other international models, the organisers said.

“We came to Malta not knowing what to expect and have discovered two exceptional Maltese girls. We are delighted to be able to give them the opportunity to walk in the London Fashion Week,” international show director Geoff Cox said.

For Ms Buhagiar this was “a really exciting opportunity. I look forward to representing the InFashion Malta agency and the country for the very first time”.

Speaking about the aftermath of the Malta fashion event, held at Gianpula, InFashion Malta director Kristoff Zammit Ciantar said it was also possible that one of its photographers might have secured a cover on an international fashion magazine.
