The good news emanating from the tourism sector has continued gathering pace in Malta, according to the latest issue of the MHRA magazine. All the signs point to a good year although all experts are in agreement that the islands have not yet reached the success levels of 2008.

While lauding the success and the efforts of all concerned, George Micallef, president of the MHRA, points out in the magazine that Malta needs to be very vigilant and resourceful if it is to reach better and more meaningful results.

The issue also carries an in-depth overview of the 10 years since the Hilton was rebuilt and re-launched. The cover features the MTA employee of the year, coincidentally an employee of Hilton, where he is interviewed and gives an insider’s view of what goes on in a super busy kitchen. The magazine also features the people behind the catering at the Grand Hotel Excelsior.
