11 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from the president and committee members of Għaqda Santa Katerina VM, Żejtun, at the Palace.

Tuesday

10 a.m. The President is presented with a publication entitled Pauline Malta by Joseph Ferriggi, chairman of Fondazzjoni Patri Martin Caruana, at San Anton Palace, Attard.

11 a.m. The President is presented with a book entitled Luqa St Andrew’s F.C. – 75 Sena ta’ Storja by members of Luqa St Andrews Football Club at San Anton Palace.

11 a.m. Mrs Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund working committee at San Anton Palace.

Noon The President receives Dr Julian Mamo at San Anton Palace.

6.15 p.m. The President is interviewed by John Bundy during his programme Ta’ Bundy at Public Broadcasting Services Ltd in Guardamanġa.

7 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela preside over the Malta Community Chest Fund board meeting at San Anton Palace.

Wednesday

10 a.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend Mass on Victory Day at St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta.

11 a.m. The President lays a wreath at the Great Siege Memorial in Republic Street, Valletta.

Thursday

9.30 a.m. The President is presented with credentials by Irish Ambas­sador Jim Hennessy at the Palace, Valletta.

10.30 a.m. The President is presented with the credentials by Italian Ambassador Efisio Luigi Marras at the Palace.

11.30 a.m. The President is presented with credentials by Kuwaiti Ambassador, Sheikh Jaber Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah, at the Palace.

12.30 p.m. The President presides over the swearing-in ceremony of Silvio Camilleri as the newly appointed Chief Justice at the Palace.

1.30 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela host a luncheon in honour of the newly-accredited ambassadors of Ireland, Italy and Kuwait.

8 p.m. The President inaugurates the ninth edition of the Qormi Bread Festival at Razzett l-Antik, Qormi.
