APS photo competition

APS Bank is organising a photo competition entitled ‘Banking on our local heritage’, in collaboration with the Malta Photographic Society.

The competition is being organised as part of the bank’s centenary celebration activities and entries will be received until September 25. All entries will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges and the results will be published by the end of October.

The winner will receive €500, with the runner-up and second runner-up receiving €275 and €150 respectively. The top 50 entries will form part of a photo exhibition planned for the beginning of next year.

Entries should depict Maltese heritage in any of its different facets, including natural heritage – fauna and flora, geology, landscape and landforms and other natural resources; cultural heritage – tradition, customs and practices inherited from ancestors; local architecture and traditional craftsmanship.
