Credit management courses

The Malta Association of Credit Management (MACM) is organis­ing two credit management courses. The diplomas are: ICM Diploma in Credit Management – Level 3 and ICM Diploma in Credit Management – Level 5.

Both qualifications are highly regarded by the industry, as

they provide opportunities for specialisation and develop qualities that could easily be applied to other managerial roles.

Today’s business environment is constantly changing, with cus­tomers demanding more credit and 80 to 90 per cent of business-to-business transactions involving payment at a later date with credit terms being extended regularly.

MACM operates from its training centre in Triq ta’ Mellu, Mosta and is the accredited International Credit Management (ICM) training centre in Malta.

“It is clear that a credit manag-ement culture is very far from being standard practice in Malta. However, we have been extremely successful with our courses.

“Local participants have consistently placed at the top and also won several awards,” the association’s course administrator, Josef Busuttil, said.
