BoV renews Gold Support Agreement with Malta Chamber

Bank of Valletta has renewed its Gold Support Agreement with the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry. The new three year agreement was signed by Tonio Depasquale, CEO at Bank of Valletta and Helga Ellul, president of the Malta Chamber.

Speaking during the signing of the agreement, Mr Depasquale said: “This new agreement is expected to enhance the already close business ties that exist between the two parties. We consider this agreement as being mutually beneficial and we will be seeking to assist each other so as to tap new business opportunities.” “The Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry is proud to collaborate with one of the main players in Malta’s economy,” said Ms Ellul. “The long-term support by Bank of Valletta, now exceeding 10 years, has gone beyond monetary contribution, focusing on the local business community. This latest agreement will give particular attention to small-and medium-sized enterprises and to their valid contribution to the Maltese community.”

“Through this agreement, several new projects are to be undertaken together, projects that will strengthen both entities and thus provide more direct benefits to the business community,” Mr Depasquale added.
