Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan’s latest selection of book recommendations are now being championed. The couple have teamed up with retailer WH Smith, with eight authors set to receive a boost from their magic touch.
They have personally reviewed each of the books and there will also be interviews with the authors in a dedicated area of the company’s website.
The chosen books are Sister, by Rosamund Lupton; A Place of Secrets, by Rachel Hore; The Snowman, by Jo Nesbo; The Wilding, by Maria McCann; No And Me, by Delphine de Vigan; Waiting For Columbus, by Thomas Trofimuk; The Crying Tree, by Naseem Rakha; and Operation Mincemeat, by Ben Macintyre.
Ms Finnigan said: “We’ve spent a wonderful summer reading these books and enjoying them. We’re delighted that we’re working on a book club again, and that we’re now able to share our selection with everyone.”
Mr Madeley said: “The selec-tion process was incredibly difficult, but these books are page-turners that we just couldn’t put down.”
The pair will post a review each fortnight at www.whsmith.co.uk/richardandjudy, where interviews with the authors and reviewsfrom readers will also be placed.
