Dancers tango to the top at Argentina festival
An Argentine-Japanese couple beat out the reining Japanese team and some 400 other dancing duos to take the top prize in the Mundial de Tango world competition in Buenos Aires.
For the 19 finalist teams, the two-week festival has been the culminating moment in a long year of preparation, perfecting a detail-oriented art. AFPTV accompanied some aspiring tango artists as they danced their way through the finals.
