Clearest images of Titanic to date produced
Cutting-edge and 3D technology have helped to produce various images of the Titanic, the clearest to date.
A high-tech expedition has been forced to suspend its efforts to create a detailed map of the wreckage of the Titanic because of the approach of Hurricane Danielle.
The high tech expedition began work earlier last month to explore the ocean floor where the ship sank nearly 100 years ago, the crew said.
The Titanic, a luxury passenger ship once thought to be unsinkable, hit an iceberg on April 14, 1912 and sank in the early morning of April 15, 1912, killing 1,500 people.
After decades of searching, the wreckage of the Titanic was discovered in 1985 some four kilometres beneath the surface of the sea.

I agree with Nan and wonder if the exhibit is still on the QM as I plan an Atlantic Crossing on that ship and would love to see it.

Wow what an awesome picture!!!!!! I have, as many are still, fascinated
by the Titanic. The ship sunk on my birthday which is April 15th, the year of course is different. My daughter and I went to the Queen Mary for her birthday several years ago and were estatic that the exhibit of the Titanic artifacts was there on the ship.
You could almost reach out and touch the souls of the people who vanished that dreary night. It is an experience my daughter and I will never forget.
Respectfully,
