German Foreign Minister on official visit

German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle arrived in Malta last night for an official visit.

Mr Westerwalle, who is visiting for the first time since taking office in 2009, will today meet President George Abela, Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi and Foreign Minister Tonio Borg.

European policy, such as EU financing and migration, are expected to be discussed.
