Do wardens fear facing litter bugs?
Can the Swieqi local council kindly tell us if Triq il-Keffa and Triq il- Qasam are to be surfaced in the near future? They are in a terrible, deteriorating state and I strongly believe Swieqi residents deserve better roads.
On another note, can the St Julians local council please tell us how many fines for littering were issued by wardens in a specific time span in the area near the Melita Pharmacy and opposite it in Triq San Ġorġ? Traffic fines are easy to dish out but maybe fines for littering are more difficult because one has to actually face the offender. Are the wardens shying away from some of their duties?

Wardens seem to be interested only in issuing parking fines. Everybody bar the authorities is aware that law enforcement in Malta is a joke. Unfortunately, many whose job it is to make sure that the law is obeyed, are only there for the pay cheque. We see all sorts of infringements day in day out but where are the wardens and traffic policemen?

it appears wardens generally only target easy prey, and lack the guts to confront and book the larger fish. i dare any warden to book the illegally parked dealer cars in lower mdina rd qormi (bad parking / unpaid licenses etc). But i would love to be proven wrong...

Robert Chetcuti when wardens pass through Zabbar they turn their head the other way when they pass near car dealers in Triq Hompesch and the Zabbar bypass with cars parked both on and under the pavement and also when passing through St Anthony Street when they see buses double or triple parked or even parked in corners when they have already caused several accidents.
