BUGEJA. On August 28, at Roseville Home, Attard, SALVU (l-Iskultur), born in Żurrieq and residing in Sliema, widower of Ġuża, passed away peacefully at the venerable age of 90, surrounded by loved ones and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his children Mary and her husband Michael Camilleri, Joe and his wife Gloria, Doris and her husband Silvio Attard, and Maris and her husband Charles Grech, his grandchildren Alex, Colette, Andrew, Simon, Christopher, Michelle, Christianne and Elizabeth and his great-grandchildren Maria, Elisa, Gianluca, Maya and Michela. Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 8 a.m. at Żurrieq parish church, followed by interment at San Leone Cemetery, Bubaqra, Żurrieq. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

DALLI. On August 27, EMMA of Tal-Ibraġ, widow of Carmel, aged 89, passed away to meet her heavenly Father comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her five children: EU Commissioner John Dalli, Mary Rose Cardona, Dun Ġorġ Dalli, Anna Fenech and Bastjan Dalli, their spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8 a.m. for St Sebastian parish church, Qormi, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

DEMAJO. On August 28 at Mater Dei hospital Anne Mary neé Cefai, widow of Dr Anthony Demajo, who passed away peacefully comforted by the rights of Holy Church after a short illness bourne with Christian fortitude. She leaves to mourn her loss her most beloved sister Carmen, Mary widow of Joe Naudi, Maria widow of her brother Joe, Victor and Yone, Maurice, John and Isabelle, Paul and Mabel, Tony and Helen, Marlene widow of her brother Alfred as well as all her numerous nephews and nieces, as well as the children of her late husband. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9 a.m. for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. TABONE. On August 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, ERSILIA of Sliema, aged 82, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her five children Edgar, Marie, Josette, Mario and Gino, their respective spouses, her grandchildren, Kirsty, Melissa, Lisa, Kris, Marc, Rebecca, Neil, Ian and Alison, other relatives and friends. VELLA. On August 28, GEORGE, aged 83, of Żabbar passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Carmelina and his children Therese and Mario Philip Azzopardi, Tano and Maria Vella Bonnici, Joe and Anna Vella Bonnici, Dorothy and Charles Pace and Katryn and Sandro Mercieca, his beloved grandchildren, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m for the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces, Żabbar where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment at Żabbar cemetery. Mass At Little Sisters

The Little Sisters of the Poor of St Paul’s Home, Ħamrun invite their friends to mark the feast of their foundress in a Mass tonight at 5.30 p.m. at the Home’s chapel which will be celebrated by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech.
