Rotary Club Malta and Rotary Club La Valette recently presented a choral concert of sacred music by Chorale Anguélos, a school choir from the École Chevreul Blancarde in Marseille, France.

Some 45 girls and boys, aged between 12 and 18, sang music by Bach, Mozart and Handel.

The concert was held at Our Lady of Good Counsel church, Paceville and donations made by those present will go towards this year’s Rotary projects.

The group, who stayed at the seminary in Rabat, performed at a number of other churches in Malta.

The choir goes on tour every summer and has travelled to Canada, the Reunion Islands and Ireland, as well as several cities in France.

They had also performed for the late Pope John Paul II.
