Like tango, Argentina's 'fileteado' thrives in the streets

Fileteado was born at the same time, and on the same streets, as Buenos Aires's most famous art form, the tango.

The drawing, characterised by decorative curves and floral finishes, adorns storefronts, buses and street signs -- and now is moving inside and upmarket, as international brands take up the "porteno" style.
