TVM and Bay Radio most popular stations

TVM and Bay Radio remained the most-watched and listened-to stations respectively in the second quarter of this year, according to the latest Broadcasting Authority survey.

TVM captured more than a third of the audience for TV stations, at 34.4 per cent, with One coming in second at 13.6 per cent. Net TV was a distant third on 4.8 per cent.

Some 16.3 per cent of the public preferred to watch “other TV stations”, such as those available through cable television services.

Xarabank remained the most-watched programme, at 14.4 per cent, followed by F’Salib it-Toroq, with 13.1 per cent, and TVM News, with 9.16 per cent.

In the radio category, Bay Radio reached more than a fifth of listeners, with One Radio in second and Calypso Radio in third places with just over one in 10 each.
