The Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival, an annual event providing fashionable consumers with a week-long schedule of free and ticketed events, kicked off yesterday and ends on Saturday.

This year’s event is featuring over 100 designers on the Rosemount Runway at the Sydney Town Hall.

The red carpet was presented by Marie Claire and revenue raised during the event is being donated to Unicef Australia.

Hilton hotel heiress and fashion figure Nicky Hilton touched down yesterday in a cold and drizzly Sydney and headed straight to her hotel to prepare for her appearance at the Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival.

Ms Hilton has been hired by designer Charlie Brown and her husband Danny Avidan and will be the biggest name to parade the catwalk during the festival. She was watched by hundreds of people when met by more than a dozen photographers, wearing an off the shoulder Charlie’s Army T-shirt by the label she’s representing.
