Escaped prisoner recaptured in pub

A prisoner in Australia who escaped from police and swam across a river was recaptured hours later - enjoying a beer in a pub.

Kayd Thorp escaped from police at Brisbane airport.

He was taken there to be extradited to the state of Victoria to face charges there.

Thorp swam across a river and was on the run for more than six hours before police found him in the pub.
