Last weekend, Malta achieved its first success in the Mediterranean Drivers Trotting Championship. Tony Demanuele sealed Malta’s victory at the Voronezh Racetrack in Russia, following up his win in the initial heat with a sixth-place finish in his second race on Sunday. In the final standings, Malta led Italy and Serbia by half-a-point. The other drivers who represented Malta in the Med. Championship were Frenċu Cassar, Carl Caruana, Alan Agius, George Attard and Charles Camilleri.
