Hundreds of chickens ended up nearly splattered across the St Paul’s Bay bypass on Sunday night after the crates they were being transported in veered dangerously off the side of a lorry. The Qawra and traffic police escorted the lorry to Burmarrad, where the hapless chickens were transferred to another truck. No feathered casualties were reported in the incident.
