Alegria annual flamenco awards

Alegria Academia recently held its end of scholastic year party at Madliena Cottage, Madliena. Certificates were awarded to students who underwent the Alianza Flamenca assessments by assessor Hazel Acosta.

Alegria Academia also awards scholarships to promising students. Ivan Dimitrijevic received the Dhalia local scholarship, sponsored by Chris Grech. Ema Marie Attard was awarded the Comsec International award, sponsored by Martin Aquilina. Ms Attard will be attending a course at the annual Flamenco Festival which is held in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.
