Grateful patient
About four weeks ago, I was struck by a terrible bacterial infection. I was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital, straight to Intensive Care for seven days, and for 15 days at the ENT ward. The specialists and medical staff, with their professional skill, brought me back to life.
I wish to say a big thank you to the nursing officer at the ENT ward, who is always talking to patients, giving them good advice and words of comfort; to the nurses, who are so professional and dedicated to duty; to the care workers, who are so sweet and always try to please the patients, and last but not least, to the cleaning staff, who keep the wards spotless.
May God keep all these good people in good health and out of harm’s way. Finally, I shall pray for them every day of my life, so that they can carry on with their noble profession.

It is so refreshing to see these letters of commendation towards the staff at Mater Dei. It is also nice to see patients comment on how nice and clean the hospital is. It is a change of pace and it shows that not everything about Mater Dei is negative.
