Calamatta Cuschieri sponsors annual Qormi Wine Festival

Investment advisers Calamatta Cuschieri and Co Ltd are to be the main sponsor of Qormi’s renowned annual wine festival on September 3 and 4, to coincide with the recent opening of its new office in the town.

The event, now in its sixth edition, will showcase a wide selection of red, white and rosé wines by Marsovin.

The main street in Qormi will be lined with wine and traditional food stalls in a typical festa atmosphere with St George’s parish church as the backdrop. Local artists, including bands, soloists, għannejja and folk singers will be performing on three stages along the festival area.

Calamatta Cuschieri and Co Ltd is one of Malta’s largest investment advisory and stockbroking firms that pioneered the local industry as early as 1972.

The Qormi Wine Festival is organised by the St George’s external feasts committee in collaboration with Qormi council and the Malta Tourism Authority.
