A group of daring swimmers will today attempt the Open Water Swimming Challenge, two gruelling and ambitious swims in aid of Inspire Foundation.

Organised by the St Joseph Sports Club, Birkirkara, there will be one 5.5km race from Gozo to Malta followed by an 11km one from Malta to Gozo and back.

The aim of the challenge is to promote healthy living through organised sports activities while offering a challenge for those who like to push themselves to their limits to achieve a goal.

The Inspire Foundation improves the quality of life of thousands of disabled persons through a range of professional services, including therapeutic, educational, recreational and inclusive programmes.
