Dead end

A train was divided into two yesterday as it travelling over a bridge destroyed by floods near Guanghan in southwest China’s Sichuan province.

At least two carriages plunged into a river, but all passengers were evacuated safely. The area is one of the hardest hit by the flooding that has plagued China in recent weeks.
