A convicted thief this morning pleaded not guilty to being in possession of goods used for breaking into homes, including keys and locks.

Roderick Debono, 30, of Kirkop, who was found in possession of these goods last Thursday in the Fleur de Lys area, could not give a good explanation as to why he had these items.

He also pleaded not guilty to relapsing.

Mr Debono was granted bail against a personal deposit of €500 and a personal guarantee of €2,000.
