Condolences to Italy
Foreign Minister Tonio Borg has written to his Italian counterpart, Franco Frattini, expressing his condolences following the death of former Italian President Francesco Cossiga.
He also expressed his appreciation for the presence in Malta of Italian Secretary of State Vincenzo Scotti for the funeral of Prof Guido de Marco.
The Italian delegation also included Giuseppe Pizza, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education of Italy.

Condolences to the former Italian President Francesco Cossiga's family, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
