The Ladies’ Running Club (LRC) will be holding its annual 10K road race on September 17.

The race, now in its 20th edition, will start at 6 p.m. from near the Mdina Glass Factory, Ta’ Qali, the main sponsors of the event. The route is the same as last year, following the Rabat road down to Attard, passing St Catherine’s Hospital and then returning to Mdina Glass through Ta’ Qali.

Prizes and trophies will be awarded to the first three finishers in both the men’s and women’s races. The first LRC member to finish the race will be presented with the Lina Borg Costanzi award. The winners in the older categories will also be rewarded.

This year, a percentage of the race proceeds will be donated to the Malta Hospice Movement.
