ZC Excess lose opener

ZC Excess had a tough start in the Preliminary round of the UEFA Futsal Cup after the Malta champions lost to BGA Futsal, of Denmark, 5-2 at the Cottonera Sports Complex yesterday. ZC Excess were in the match for long stretches but their hopes were ended when they suffered two late goals from Kevin Jorgensen that sealed BGA Futsal’s victory. Fabiano Bassi and Emil Raducu scored Excess’s goals. In the other match played yesterday, Ilves beat Tirana 3-1. Today, BGA Futsal face FS Ilves at 6 p.m. while ZC Excess take on Tirana at 8 p.m.
