Paraguayan President Fernando Lugo was yesterday released from a hospital in São Paulo, Brazil, where he is undergoing treatment for his lymphatic cancer. Paraguayan officials earlier last week said the type of malignant cancer was “potentially curable”, while the president’s Paraguayan and Brazilian doctors said it would require six chemotherapy sessions, amounting to four to six months of treatment.
