I refer to the letter Mgarr’s Ferry Terminal (August 6).

It is to be regretted that the circumstances were not to the satisfaction of our clients.

In the company’s defence, on the day in question some 3000 vehicles and thousands of passengers were carried and consequently the maintenance and cleaning programme that applies throughout the terminal on a 24/7 basis came under some strain.

In so far as concerns the operation of the cafeteria, note has been taken but the operation is contracted out and Gozo Channel does not have direct control over it.
