A woman allegedly threatened to shoot her father and put him in a wheelchair and then take his car to run over someone and blame it on him.

The woman, a hairdresser from Lija aged 29, was granted bail yesterday after pleading not guilty to the charges brought against her.

She allegedly got into an argument with her father on Wednesday over the fact that he was giving preferential treatment to her sister, police sources said.

In yesterday’s arraignment, she denied threatening to kill him, threatening to use violence against him and threatening him over the phone.

Magistrate Doreen Clarke granted her bail against a personal guarantee of €2,000 and a deposit of €400.
