The Malta Dockers' Union has confirmed Joe Saliba as its president for the next four years.

The MDU said in a statement that its 360 out of the 370 licences port workers could vote in the election. A total 319 cast their vote - 197 for Mr Saliba, 102 for Paul Abela and 19 for Anthony Chircop.
