Palazzo Falson
I refer to the interesting letter by Lorenzo A. Zahra entitled Gollcher Family Tablet (August 9), wherein he mentions that Palazzo Falson in Mdina is run by the Gollcher Foundation.
Purely for the sake of accuracy, Palazzo Falson is being run by Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti following a restoration and management agreement drawn up in 2001 with the Captain O.F. Gollcher Art and Archaeological Foundation.

C. Formose - I partly agree, for children under the age of 5 years (if I remember correctly) are not allowed in. I was travelling with my child, had no other adult with me and was refused entry...thank God I was told about this by others, but didn't believe them...no not the Maltese. Professional? I wonder to what level though........

@ C. Formosa – thank you for your comments
@ A. Farrugia – thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately due to space restrictions and the proximity of artifacts to the visitor we had to take the decision not to permit infants into the museum and regret that you were disappointed on this occasion.
Please do note however that we have a number of programmes which are specifically designed for children. To start with, infants and very young children who are accompanied by adults can wait in our beautiful roof-top café where the child is provided with drawing materials. We then put up images of their art work on our website for all their family & friends to see.
Children between 6 and 12 years are permitted free entry to the Palazzo. We provide free 12 page interactive activity books for children to use while in the Museum and to take home. We also regularly hold free workshops for children.
We have also created unique Arty Parties for children. School groups are also provided with guided tours, specifically pitched at their age group.
