ABELA. On August 9, at Karin Grech Hospital, CARMELA of Dingli, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Lilian, Giovanna and her husband Joseph Agius, Maria widow of Rene Fleri Soler, Luckie and her husband Aldo Sant, her brother Tony and his wife Louise, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital today at 3.30 p.m. for Dingli parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Dingli Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Missionaries of St Paul would be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

BALZAN. On August 8, at Mater Dei Hospital LOUISE née Muscat of Swieqi, aged 59, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Michael, her children Rodiane and Keith, her mother Ethel, wife of the late Dr John Muscat MD, MP, her grandchild Miguel, her sisters Mary wife of Godfrey Mangion, Josette wife of Edward Amato, Monique wife of Gérard Zammit and her brother Claude husband of Marcelle, her sister-in-law Felicity wife of her late brother Pierre Muscat MP, her mother-in-law Mary wife of the late Francis Balzan, her brothers-in-law Ino husband of Monica, Anthony and her sisters-in-law Anna, and Marghuerite, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for Tal-Ibraġ parish church, Ibraġ where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Basilica Maria Bambina (Tal-Vitorja) Senglea towards Christ the Redeemer will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.

EHRHARDT. On August 9 at Mater Dei Hospital, BEREND of Birkirkara, aged 73, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Carmen, his children Alex and his partner Veronica, Susanne and her partner Christian, his grandchild Selene, his brothers and sisters residing in Holland, his mother-in-law Yvonne, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Helen Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Villa Mgr Gonzi will be greatly appreciated. Special thanks go to all doctors, nurses, and staff of ITU, Mater Dei Hospital. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
