Two Italian women were hospitalised this evening after they were hit by a car at Rabat.
The police said the incident happened at 7.10 p.m. as the women, aged 41 and 50, were crossing the road after alighting from a bus at Saqqajja.
The car involved in the incident was a Fiat Punto driven by a 38-year-old man.
The women are being treated at Mater Dei Hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
