Some practice on clay pigeons, others on road signs as was the case with the Naxxar local council sign that was vandalised with a barrage of rocks on Saturday night.

No, I disagree. There is no insinuation about those practising on clay-pigeons being somehow linked with those vandalising street furniture.
As regards clay-pigeon shooting, I really wish with all my heart that it would be practised more ... much more ... infinitely more, actually!!! ehem!

If this is the way to show one's feelings towards the local council, we are more of third world country then many would like us to believe. In the civilised world, one can have different ways to forward his problems. Who is paying for this vandalism? Any one of us tax payers.

So much for a show of feelings.

Mr.Igalea - Finally I am pleased to note that at last we found somthing to agree upon . You may have noticed that I always write Tal-Pieta under my name, and add that whenever I comunicate in writing, I always write the appropriate name including the reference to the name or the applicable article, such as Hal-; Has-; Hat-; Haz-; Tas-or the article L' ; IL-; In-; Iz-; etc.. Michael Seychell Tal-Pieta

michael seychell pleased that at least we agree on something. When you consider everything you may find that there are more things that people agree on than what they disagree on. Disagreement is usually only related to one or two particular hotly or very hotly debated areas with agreement on the rest.

@I Galea: Your comment would have been proper if this newspaper was in Maltese. Since it is in English, names are written correctly as Naxxar, Ghaxaq, Hamrun, etc. The articulation is used only if the text is written in Maltese.
