Children from Fra Diego Home in Ħamrun aged between four and 14 were recently given a one-day treat organised by Valletta Fund Management Ltd (VFM) and Valletta Fund Services Ltd (VFS) as part of the two firms’ corporate social responsibility activities.

The day kicked off at the Fun Park at Ta’ Qali, followed by a ride on Malta’s trackless train ‘Peprina’, and ended with lunch at Il-Veduta.

VFM general manager Peter Perotti said: “We wanted to show our support to the Franciscan sisters and helpers who give so much to promote the general welfare and social well-being of the children entrusted in their care. Above all we wanted to show the children there are people who care for them.”

VFS general manager Kenneth Farrugia added that the event was also an opportunity for all employees to meet in a social environment while doing charity work.

He said: “VFM and VFS are constantly seeking new opportunities to take an active role within the community in which we are operating, and we are glad this event was a success, not only for us but for the children.”
