GATT - Sr EMANUELA of Franciscan Sisters of Mary, Balzan, aged 83, of Żebbuġ, passed away peacefully, at Mater Dei Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers Carmel and his wife Margaret, Philip, her sister Maria and her brother Fr Anthony Gatt SJ who resides in India and the widower of her sister Joe Sammut, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary church, Balzan where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
MALLIA - MaryAnne née Chetcuti Bonavita, widow of Alfred, 70 years old, passed away peacefully at home. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Malcolm, Anne-Marie Gafa, Peter and Maureen, their spouses and partners, her grandchildren Philip, Christopher and Nicholas, her brothers and sisters Margaret, Monica, Michael his wife Anna and Joe, as well as her in-laws Sophie and Paul, Salv and Audrey, Grace, Josephine, Mary and Rose, her nephews, nieces and friends. The funeral will be held at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel today at 9 a.m.
