Charged with corrupting minor

A 40-year-old Gharb resident was this morning remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to corrupting a 16-year-old female.

The man was accused of holding the minor against her will and offending public morals.

No Mr.Tanti, If you were accused would it be it be fair for you to be named without undergoing a fair trial? We could as much point the finger and name anyone we like and yes I am sure we both know the consequences of that if such names become public, I'm point one at you just for the sake of the matter if you think that's such a good idea.

Before naming the accused one has to make sure that the female is telling the truth!
If we name all those who are accused of some offence, without first finding the truth, there are many immature people around us who would be accusing others JUST FOR FUN!

There are still those amongst us who are ready to give false alarms as " there is a bomb in school" and also Ambululances and police are called in a faked emergency, for some amongst us have a very silly sense od humour

No I don't think they should. Not until and unless found guilty - especially considering that he's been remanded in custody in the meantime. Given the reaction of most people to these accusations, naming him would be equivalent to sentencing him before a verdict has been reached.
