The Football League competitions – The Championship, League One and League Two – will begin their new campaign on Saturday, boosted by a new three-year agreement with main sponsors Coca Cola.
Football League commercial director Stewart Thomson said that as the sponsorship enters its seventh season, Coca Cola have made an exceptional contribution to the competition.
Middlesbrough, meanwhile, are hoping to become the third different northeast club to be crowned Championship winners come May.
Manager Gordon Strachan made a good number of swoops in the market this summer as the Scot also thrives to return to the Premier League as manager.
The Championship winners read as follows:
2004-05: Sunderland
2005-06: Reading
2006-07: Sunderland
2007-08: West Brom
2008-09: Wolves
2009-10: Newcastle
