Marco Borg will be in Skopje tomorrow to take charge of the Europa League third qualifying round, second leg match between Macedonia’s FK Teteks and IF Elfsborg, of Sweden.

Borg will be flanked by Ingmar Spiteri and Konrad G. Borg who will act as assistant referees while Andre Arciola will be the fourth official.

Esther Azzopardi was also handed duty in Europe as she was appointed to control matches from the UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifying tournament which will be played in Slovenia between today and August 11.

Azzopardi will be in charge of the match between ASD Bardolino, of Italy and Swansea City Ladies scheduled for tomorrow.

She will also referee the match between ASD Bardolino and FC Baia Zugdidi, of Georgia.

Azzopardi will then act as a fourth official in the match between ZNK Krka, of Slovenia and ASD Bardolino.

Meanwhile, Mariano Debono was one of eight assistant referees on duty last week at the UEFA U/19 Championship held in France.

The competition was won by the host country after beating Spain 2-1 in the final.
