Throughout all day Sunday, the hundreds that visited the Citadel and the thousand plus that thronged inside the Cathedral for the grand opening of the feast of Santa Marija had to pass through this rubbish heap at the Citadel’s very entrance. The night before there was a wine festival on the Citadel fortifications. The accompanying photo was taken on late Sunday afternoon. Any comment is superfluous.
