Bear kills man at campsite

One person was killed and two others injured in a bear attack at a campsite north of Yellowstone National Park, Montana wildlife officials said yesterday.

Fish, Wildlife and Parks spokes­man Ron Aasheim said Park County officials reported that a man was killed and two other people were injured in a mauling reported at about 4 a.m., east of Cooke City.

The man was found dead in a tent at the Soda Butte camping ground. His age and home town were not immediately known.

Mr Aasheim said another man was bitten on the leg and taken to a hospital in Cody, Wyoming, while a woman suffered injuries to her arms.
