Maltaattraction.com chooses Icon for its new website
Valletta-Living History recently released its new website www.maltaattraction.com, built by Icon. The website features ICON.snap™, a content-management-system which allows website administrators to easily change and update content on the site.
Given maltaattraction.com’s visual nature, the website is laden with image galleries and videos, which help in better illustrating the rich history of the capital city as well as many colourful facts about Malta. Maltaattraction.com also uses a number of Web 2.0 tools so as to enable easy sharing of various parts of the site with friends and across all social networks.
Valletta Living History has already been described by Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi as “a fascinating and exciting initiative”. The high definition show is a docu-drama which portrays the history of Valletta and the achievements of the Maltese, since the city’s birth till present day. The 35-minute audio visual production is fast paced and brings to the market a previously unseen view of the lifestyle of the Maltese throughout the ages.
Maltaattraction.com was fully aware that such a production required an equally professional website. Michael Soler, director of Valletta Living History said: “Icon was approached due to the company’s experience in this field and my conviction that beyond the mere project aesthetics, Icon can build a site which drives traffic and generates substantial interest by web users.”
