Drug trafficker caught red handed

A man and two women have been arrested by the police following drug raids in Gzira on Monday afternoon.

The police said they had received a tip-off about drug trafficking from a residence in Ponsomby Street. They kept the place under surveillance for some time and then raided the property and caught a 31-year-old man red-handed as he was preparing heroin for trafficking. 31 drug packets were found. The man was previously known to the police.

The officers also arrested the man's 29-year-old girlfriend and another woman, aged 22, who live near by.

The man is expected to be taken to court and accused of drug possession and trafficking, while the women will be accused of possession.

A magisterial inquiry is under way.

BlaBla Bla......They have not even been charged in court yet!! The magisterial inquiry is still under way.

What will you be demanding next? That the police tell you in advance who they will be arresting?
